Markus Klinko
Hailed as "one of the brilliant harpists of the young generation," Markus Klinko is rapidly earning worldwide reputation for his performances with orchestras and in recital throughout the United States, the Orient and Europe. Son of Albert Klinko, former principal French horn in Toscanini's NBC Symphony in the Air, Klinko was born in Winterthur, Switzerland in 1961, and studied harp at the Zurich Conservatory and at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris. His prinicpal teachers were Pierre Jamet and Lily Laskine. |
